Over the past 2 years Detroit Virtual has grown enormously into a community which knows that the members need to come first. In turn we have created a family type environment in which every member is given the proper support and recognition that they deserve. Other servers may boast about the number of members they have, however, how many times do you see the admins sitting down with the members and discussing aspects of the server that members may feel should be improved on or aspects which they feel are helping the community grow. Our focus is on the quality of our members experience rather then how many members we have. Our sign up process is very carefully monitored and members are selected based off of their score on our entrance exam and an entrance interview with a head administrator. This ensures that our members get the best they can out of their experience.
So now that you have heard just the beginning of what Detroit Virtual has to offer you may be thinking, "well how do we the members get incentive to fly or control for other pilots?" Along with all of the changes in the operations and human resource aspects of our server we have also implemented a pilots rewards system in which pilots will be rewarded based off of their time in flight, spirit for the server etc. Members will also now have a live virtual bank account which will reflect how much they get paid for their flights and ATC. Depending on how many awards you earn as a member effects your pilot and ATC pay rate! Just another incentive for our members to know that Detroit Virtual stands out from any other server for any flight simulation community!
